The Beatles visit Bachillerato

Well, today I will show you some of the activities we accomplished with the students in the 1st year of Bachillerato for Christmas.

We had a Karaoke session. Yes! You are not daydreaming, it's true. I took my PS2 and we sang songs in English, well some people sang, other did not want to try and there were a few whose performance cannot be labelled as singing (just joking).

We sang, among others, Imagine, by John Lennon. It was nice to see students singing peace songs by Lennon.

Hello everybody!!

This is the new blog created by the Department of English Studies at José Saramago Secondary School in Arganda (Madrid).

We begin this blog as we want our students to be able to keep in touch with English everywhere and anytime.

We will publish all the interesting information that we come accross dealing with English or even with activities that may be useful for you.

You don't need to study at our school to visit and take part in the blog.
